The Rochester Water Bureau is committed to providing safe, high quality water and excellent service, while adhering to safe and environmentally friendly practices. In addition, the City partners with the Livingston County Water & Sewer Authority (LCW&SA), Monroe County Water Authority (MCWA) and the Village and Town of Lima to provide water to some of their service areas. The City of Rochester Water Bureau provides water to 210,000 people and many businesses located within the City of Rochester. The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) requires all water utilities to produce and distribute water quality reports on an annual basis.
